According to reliable sources, Tijjani Reijnders’ move to AC Milan is almost finalized, with an agreement imminent. Milan faced challenges during negotiations with AZ Alkmaar, as two previous offers were rejected. However, their third offer has been successful, and the overall sentiment is positive, as reported by Fabrizio Romano and Matteo Moretto.
The deal, reportedly confirmed by Daniele Longo, will see Milan pay €20 million plus bonuses to AZ Alkmaar for the midfielder. Final details are being worked out, and Reijnders could undergo his medical examination as early as Monday. It is anticipated that the player will earn €1.7 million per season.
Anto Vitiello has also confirmed that the new offer is indeed €20 million plus bonuses, and a total agreement is very close. Reijnders is set to become Milan’s fifth signing of the summer, adding to their successful transfer market activity.
Additionally, Luca Maninetti has affirmed that the deal is reaching its conclusion. Luca Bianchin has further revealed that Reijnders made the decision to forego a salary of €3 million per year from Alkmaar in favor of joining Milan for €1.6 million per year, along with a sign-on bonus.
